New Balance x 686

Elsewhere in the world of kicks morphing into snowboard boots, 686 has linked with New Balance for NB’s first ever foray into riding. Based on the MT580, the New Balance x 686 “580″ even uses both the Rollbar and Abzorb tech that comes in the shoes. No word on how they ride yet but these boots have been confirmed to be mad comfy on the feet. The 580 comes in black plaid and white plaid and also features interchangeable BOA lace coilers. This collab takes it one step further and also includes limited edition dual branded 580 and 420 sneakers, three outerwear pieces, a New Era fitted, and sweatshirts and tees. This is one of three high profile 686 collabs for 2009/10 including Levi’s and Krew. More on those later. A bunch more pics after the jump.
