The North Face | Sustainable Sandals

Right in time for Earth Day, The North Face has released two pairs of sustainable sandals. The Ex-Girlfriend (pictured) named for the namaste wifey we’ve all had at one point, features webbing strap reinforcement and a Tibetan Prayer Flag motif both made from recycled plastic bottles. The Istabez takes it a notch further with 100% recycled PET strap and binding, recycled lining, and an outsole derived from reused car tires. Finally, TNF keeps it real right down to the recycled paper boxes and cornstarch resin tissue. A look at the Istabez after the jump.
