Even though most locals think surfing is when teenagers ride on top of subway cars, New York City has it’s very own festival of surf films. Yep, this weekend will kick off the second ever New York Surf Film Festival at Tribeca Cinemas. Featuring a selection of feature and short-format films including several world and US premieres, the NYSFF also has a bunch of dope filmmaker Q&A’s planned following some screenings.
