The cold and rain didn’t stop many people from coming out to the opening of the Nike SB Pop Up store in Mitte, Berlin this weekend. Germany’s skate elite was in the house to check out photographer Alex Flach’s ill photos of the German SB team tours in Tokyo, Cairo, Cape Town and Dubai, and for free Becks and vodka. Monster and LoDown magazines were there as was Nike snowboarder Gigi Ruf. Even Chris Haslam showed up, having just finished a Globe trip and now embarking on a two week personal “learn German” tour. True story. The Nike SB Pop Up Berlin will be open for three months and will feature a rotating selection of in-line and exclusive models, including several from the vaults.
