As part of their spring 2013 catalog, FTC have enlisted fellow San Franciscan (is that what people from San Francisco are called?) and boxer Karim “Hard Hitta” Mayfield to show that skateboarding isn’t the only activity that FTC apparel works for. FTC has welcomed another SF shredder to their squad with Fernando Covarrubias. It’s crazy how deep the talent pool goes in that city. Expect to see more of Fern soon.

FTC has teamed up with San Francisco native & undefeated welterweight boxer, Karim “Hard Hitta” Mayfield for a limited edition deck and t-shirt. Everything about this frenetic welcome video for Garret Daly from FTC is rad. It’s got balls to the wall shredding, lo-fi filming, and young Nas from “Live at the BBQ,” what more could you ask for? A shot thrown in from Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn, perhaps? Word, it’s got that too.

Girl and Lakai are pleased to announce a collaboration with FTC that celebrates FTC’s roots as a tennis shop. The collaboration consists of multiple colorways of the Carroll 5 shoe, as well as a board and pocket tee. There will also be an event held at Larsen Park in S.F. on Saturday September 15th from 1-4pm with BBQ, tennis, basketball, and skateboarding with FTC, Lakai and Girl.
