Camp Woodward took another step in their global expansion with the opening of their four season camp at Boreal in Lake Tahoe. Tony Hawk, Jaws, Riley Hawk, Slash, Neal Hendrix, Hannah Teter, Tanner Hall and more were on hand for the ribbon cutting and from the looks of this video, it may be the sickest multi sport training facility on the planet.
The latest dose features next generation rippers like Rene Serrano, Jett and Jagger Eaton and Aspen Spora as well as a check-in from Camp Woodward’s Neal Hendrix on why the kids are so damn good these days. Via Network A.
Not content to be North America’s premier shred training facility with Woodward at Copper, Copper Mountain in Colorado has just added a 22 foot Superpipe to their arsenal, a first for the Rocky Mountain State. Take a look into the action on their CenterVillage cam and stay tuned for the Sprint U.S. Grand Prix at Copper Mountain Dec. 5th – 10th.
The 33rd Hood Games took place last Saturday in San Francisco, California at the African American Comunity Complex. Once again Karl Watson and friends turned out an awesome event for the local urban communities. This was the biggest Hood Games yet! One of the kids was even awarded a scholarship to Woodward. Nyjah Huston and Walker Ryan were hanging out all day skating with the kids. So have a look at this project that’s improving kids lives and their communities through skateboarding. Via Transworld.
The Stereo crew headed out to visit Woodward West to kick off their Summer. Clint Peterson, Chris Pastras, Josiah Gatlyn, and Steven Webb all hit the park to shred. Also check out Pastras as he paints a skateable mural between sessions.
The Harold Hunter Foundation, in association with Zoo York, CCS, DVS Shoes, Camp Woodward and Red Bull, is proud to announce the 4th Annual Harold Hunter Day is set for Sunday, October 10th, in New York City. Radcollector is proud to be a part of Brooklyn-based non profit Hoods to Woods fundraiser BBQ this Saturday July 17, in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The BBQ will benefit the Harold Hunter Foundation scholarship program at Camp Woodward in Pennsylvania and will give guests the chance to see the home environs of the kids learning to surf, skate, and snowboard through the work of both of these great organizations.
