Element Eden is pitting Lisa Solberg, Juliana Neufeld, and Amber B. against Comune’s Corey Smith, Gareth Stehr, Jason Lee Parry, and Noah and Nathan Rice. On June 16th, the battlefield will be The Camp in Costa Mesa’s SoBeCa district and the weapons of choice will be Walls, track lighting, hanging materials, and creative innovation. Who will prevail? This Saturday, May 16th, Famous, Rogue Status, Wild Ones, and Overload are ganging up at the Chula Vista Skatepark for what looks like is gonna be one of the illest blast offs for the summer. Recently we told you about Stoked Mentoring’s upcoming spring suare to benefit their super rad skate, snow, and surf mentoring programs. Well they’ve taken what was already a pretty fresh lineup and turned it up a notch. The event is now being hosted by supermodel Daria Werbowy (seriously, check her out) and artists have been added to the auction like Craig Wetherby (Bullet Train pictured above) and Christopher Wool. Powerhouse branding and creative agency, Distrikt has lauched Distrikt TV, a new Youtube channel. The channel will feature media surrounding projects they’ve done with brands like Nike, Analog, Foundation, and Burton as well as random vids and creative from Distrikt’s friends and family. Definitely sure to be some good stuff here.
Today is a rather historic day in surf with the Nike 6.0 Lowers Pro jumping off at Lower Trestles in San Clemente, California. Historic why? Because its the first-ever 6-star PRIME WQS event to ever go down on the US Mainland. Sick. Nike 6.0 will be hosting a hi-def webcast with surf legend Koa Smith throughout the weekend culminating with the finals on Friday and Saturday.
Nike also enlisted surf artist and photographer, Eric Soderquist to create original artwork for the event and produced 100 hand-numbered Giclee prints. Full event info and some looks at the print after the jump.

The excellent Stoked Mentoring organization, which pairs mentors and at risk youth with surf, skate and snowboarding instructors has just announced that they will be having an art auction in NYC to benefit their programs on May 16. The auction will feature art by Peter Max, Michael Dweck and a bunch of other rad artists. Its rumored that Damien Hirst will soon be added as well. Supreme decks maybe? Full info after the jump.
