Vivianne Lapointe has curated a banger of an art show with Untamed. Opening this Saturday July 21 in Venice, California, Untamed features work by Chad Muska, Atiba Jefferson, Rick Kosick, Arto Saari, Jason Lee Parry (above) and many more. Full info and more show images after the jump.

NYC and Rio de Janeiro based artist PIXOTE has his first solo show opening in Brooklyn tonight with Agora/Now. The artist, who’s Pixação style has been dominating the five boros for the last three years, and who also contributes art to the Trouble Gang, will have all new works on display at the Trumbull Gallery in Williamsburg until July 27. There might not be anything too groundbreaking about yet another Hundreds collabo, but The Seventh Letter crew always comes correct and RIME is straight hilarious in this video. “Solving the problems of the streetwear children of the world!”

Since MOCA’s exhibit last year it seems like the “fine” art world has been more into skateboarding than ever. The latest crossover comes from France with Photographer David Manaud’s project with Electric at the Contemporary Art Museum of Bordeaux. C’est magnifique!

Last Friday night was the opening of The Hunt, a new shop in NYC that specializes in one of a kind vintage Americana items and oddities at 72 Orchard Street in the LES. Shop partners Jake Lamagno, Dylan Rieder, and Steven Ditchkus hosted the opening which was filled with tons of unique pieces and photography from Craig Wetherby and Jimmy Fontaine. Multi-talented skateboarder, snowboarder, and artist Jake Lamagno is opening a new shop in NYC called The Hunt. A project with Steven Ditchkus, The Hunt will specialize in one of a kind vintage Americana items and oddities, meaning real human skulls, full taxidermied bears, as well as artwork, furniture, and anything else that passes Lamagno and Ditchkus’ curative smell test. Pro skaterboarder Dylan Reider has also joined on as a partner and all three will be at the NYC opening tonight at 72 Orchard Street in the LES which also features a joint exhibit by photographers Craig Wetherby and Jimmy Fontaine. Last week was the opening of the Sesame Street exhibit presented by Neff and The Seventh Letter. L.A’s Known Gallery played host to the combination of street art and Sesame Street characters by artists like Revok, Stash, Todd Bratrud, Pose, Mr. Carton, and many more. The turn out was amazing and all the proceeds from the event went to benefit the City of Hope’s Department of Pediatrics. Neff and The Seventh Letter have partnered for a conglomerate of the best street artists in the world, to create a gallery show of Sesame Street-inspired works at the world famous Known Gallery in LA on April 28th-29th.
