Last year the Burton x Futura Vapor was one of the most hyped snowboards of the year. That’s the power of Futura within the hype machine. This year, the Vapor has been considerably less hyped but undeservedly so. The board itself is once again NASA-grade tech, dipped in $1200 worth of Vaporskin Lite, and the shred stick that is going to win Kevin Pearce a gold medal at the Olympics in Vancouver. What’s been largely overlooked, though, is the fact that the 2010 Vapor features a graphic derived from a collaborative Andy Warhol x Jean-Michel Basquiat piece. See, now it’s a collector’s item. Available now at Burton flagship stores in LA, NY, Chicago, and Burlington.

In continuing their collaboration together, Altamont and Neck Face have released this super limited tee from Neck Face’s “Devil’s Disciple” Halloween show at OHWOW gallery in Miami. You’ve got to hand it to Bigfoot, dude is a collabo-beast! Right on the heels of his The North Face Japan-only pack comes this new collab with DROP. Flipping the VAC II pipe glove from their Verde Series into the DPI Bigfoot puts Bigfoot’s unmistakable art onto a killer three layer thermal glove made from recycled soft shell fabrics. At only $55, the hard part will be finding a pair still in stock.

Next up from the etnies artist series are the “Spots” and “Horseplay” tees by photographer Oliver Barton. “Spots” is a montage of, you guessed it, skate spots, and “Horseplay” is Sean Malto and Mikey Taylor doing what they do best. Look for these to hit retailers soon.

etnies has just announced some dope collabo tees for Holiday 09. First up are two shirts by Dave Kinsey, “Jimmy” and “Elephant.” etnies’ goal with these tees is to “expose art to cops chasing you, liquor store clerks, commuters on the subway and bus, bartenders, teachers, friends and anybody else who crosses your path.” Word to that.

The North Face x Bigfoot event popped off last night at The North Face store in SoHo. While the elusive artist did a live installation, customers and VIP’s had a one time chance to pick up pieces from the Japan-only collabo pack. There was also a particularly delicious boxed red wine that was served. No, really, it was amazing. More pics after the jump.

Tokyo’s Lesque Skateboards just released some new decks for fall featuring artwork by Ian Lynam. If you aren’t familiar, Lynam’s a design heavyweight based in Japan who’s work spans an incredible range from Nike SB to Boeing. Following exactly one month after the release of the DH 2.1 featuring Michael J Zepeda III, comes the Ride DH 2.2 Artist Series board featuring Art Chantry. A Pacific Northwest local and graphic master, Chantry has worked with institutions and companies ranging from the Louvre to Sub Pop records.
