NYC skate godfather and Shut founder, Rodney Smith recently linked with his old friend Johnny Schillereff from Element to take part in the Element Shaper Program or ESP. The Shovelnose and Stinger are two of six Smith did for the project. RadCollector connected with him today for some words on the series.

There is a rapidly growing market for Longboards, alternative shapes and construction. This all means many different riding styles and disciplines for skaters worldwide. Johnny seemed intrigued in the position Shut is taking to meet these changes and thought to test the waters by doing a collaboration.

In4mation, Bones and The Skateboard Mag have joined forces on a limited edition cruiser for the Grind for Life charity. Ten cruisers with shape and artwork by In4mation, limited edition Rat Bones II’s, Indy trucks, Diamond Supply hardware, Bones Reds bearings and Jessup grip have just gone up on ebay with 100% of proceeds going to Grind For Life, a charity that helps skateboarders and their families deal with the financial and emotional tolls of cancer. This video about the dope 686 x Levi’s riding denim collabo is buried a bit on the 686 site and hasn’t really been seen much. Watch as 686 Creative Director Mike West chops it up with Levi’s Global VP of Creative Design Caroline Calvin and gives some insight into how the project came to be and what some of the inspiration was. Oakley and LRG have just released some looks at their upcoming A Frame collabo. Coming in two colorways, purple with LRG Tree all over print and jet black with LRG etching on the lower third of the lens, both will be available at select Oakley dealers. The black after the jump.

The TNT is a love/hate shoe for some Vans purists due to it’s bulky size but for those who skate it, it’s a favorite kick for sure. True to that, not everyone will love this Antihero TNT 4 collabo.
