The Program just keeps it coming. We told you about Pat Moore’s giveaway last week, now Special Blend is running a contest strictly for the booze hounds. The First Call Last Chair giveaway will reward the best review of an after-shred drink spot with a head to toe Special Blend kit. Continuing their streak of outside of the box events, Nike 6.0 held an invitational Best Trick contest at an abandoned farm outside of Munich, Germany two Saturdays ago. Big talent like Jed Anderson, Nick Visconte, Louis-Felix Paradis, and Marc Swoboda chopped it up with local shreds for a piece of 10,000 Euro. Most contests are pretty whatevs but Foursquare got it right with their “Win Pat Moore’s Jacket” contest. Alls you gotta do is write Pat a note at foursquare@theprogram.com telling him what the most functional feature of your jacket is and he’ll pick the best response and send them a spanking new Foursquare Coco Jacket in Citron with his autograph on it. Contest ends on March 29 so you better get at it.
5Boro and NYSkateboarding have put together a super rad contest with the Best Line in NY clip contest. To win $1000 bucks, $500 worth of Volcom, $500 worth of 5Boro, a year’s supply of both eS kicks and RedBull, alls you gotta do is film a single line (no edits) within the confines of the state of New York that is doper than anyone else’s and post it as YouTube video response here. Queens native and top Shut am Luis Tolentino solidified a place in history at this year’s Tampa Am by tying the world record for the highest ollie at 44.5 inches held by Danny Wainwright. The real question is now which shoe company is gonna step up and make this kid into Air Luis, seriously. RadCollector linked up on the snowy streets on NYC to hear how the whole thing felt. DC just dropped this dope edit from their ill behind-the-Iron-Curtain contest, SkyWars. Ruben Garcia and the DC Euro squad invaded Red Square in Moscow to judge the former CCCP’s top ams in a street battle and came back with these nine minutes from Russia with love.
DC’s King of São Paulo wrapped this Sunday with JP Dantas “Anjinho” taking the title and $4000 reais. Little Angel fought off 50 South American ams including Thiago Lemos, Denis Silva, Glauber Marques, Carlos Iqui, and José Martins at a rainy Praça Azul on Saturday and then at Praça Roosevelt on Sunday. It’s good to be Dusty Payne. At only twenty, the kid has had a year most surfers would die for: two covers on Surfer Magazine, two on Stab Magazine and the current cover of The Surfer’s Journal plus an epic part in the Video of the Year frontrunner “Modern Collective.” But it doesn’t stop there, Dusty just qualified for the WCT with his 4th place finish at the O’Neill World Cup of Surfing at Sunset. Here’s what he had to say about it, “This year I just tried to balance out contests and free-surfing trips and I guess it paid off in the end.” The video says the rest.

This weekend, fifty of South America’s nastiest am’s have been invited to rip up the Praça Roosevelt and Praça Azul in downtown SP for the chance to take home up to 4,000 reais.
