Rad Collector - Hush DC Howard Dunks
We brought you those sick WE Skate-Hi’s done up by Hush, now check out out his latest creation – the DC Howard Dunks. Wanting to recreate one of his favorite DC kicks, Hush flipped a cowskin suede upper with ballistic mesh and 3M accents, borrowed some eyelets from an Air Max 1 and put them on a Dunk sole. It’s pretty safe to say, this dude is a genius! More looks after the jump.

Rad Collector - Western Edition x Vans
There was a bit of a stir a little while back when the pics surfaced of these sick, sick Western Edition Sk8 Hi’s. A lot of people, including some of those close to the brand, didn’t know how they came to be. Turns out they were done by RAW skater Nate Keegan’s homie Hush, who took apart a pair of Sk8-Hi’s and meticulously reconstructed them into the WE 10th anniversary tribute joints you see above. Check out some more of Nate’s pair after the jump. These are 1 of 2 – the only other pair went to WE’s Ian Johnson, who created the graphic. Via Re1000.

France’s Rekiem Skateboards still makes their skateboards by hand, which is refreshing but also not surprising given the artisan heritage heritage of the French. They’ve just released this cool little video showing how one of their decks get made from start to finish. Check out some of their shapes after the jump, including their penis shaped deck, the Planche Bite. Via Skate and Annoy.
