etnies has long been a supporter of environmental causes and keeping a light footprint in general so it’s no surprise that they’ve launched the “Design the Next Eco Tee” contest. Watch the video above, which happens to rank as one of the strangest we’ve ever seen, for rules and then get on to getting one of your designs in the etnies Eco collection as well as a grip of kicks and a hand carved wooden surfboard. Good Luck!

Mountain Dew and Burton Snowboards have announced that they are partnering up through Danny Davis to produce some sustainable t-shirts through the Green Mountain Project. The shirts look cool and are made from 50% recycled Mountain Dew bottles and 50% organic cotton. The only downside is that some kid has to drink the soda to make the bottle empty to be recycled. The shirts are available now exclusively at Burton flagship stores in the US. Check out full styles after the jump.
