Signal Snowboards have just dropped another rad episode of their engineering meets shredding show Every Third Thursday. The new episode follows their quest to re-invent an adaptive snowboard using bike parts from Crank Brothers to create a bonified way for their friend Tim Ostler to shred again. It’s feel good content all the way through, enjoy.
We have a special place in our hearts for Brasil so were extra stoked to see that etnies has extended their rad tree planting initiative there. There’s a lot of good going on here.
Radcollector fam and NYC OG Rodney Torres, who recently launched his own brand TORRO Skateboards, is also involved in the the stellar Create Skateboard Foundation for youth in the city. He took some time out recently to talk about why the foundation is so rad. Via Michael Cohen.
The Shadow Conspiracy has gone the distance and united Quintin, Velo, and GGSB with Stay Strong to release a collection to help Stephen Murray’s physical rehab. The sick set includes a seat, custom hat, and t-shirt and follows the generous $10,000 that Shadow recently donated to Stephen’s cause. etnies, who made huge waves in Costa Rica with their altruistic “Buy a Shoe, Plant a Tree” program, has now focused on making a dent in restoring the rainforest by bringing the program to Brasil. Concentrated on the Atlantic Rainforest in Sao Paulo state, the program is a partnership with Trees for the Future that promises to plant 100,000 trees throughout 2012 for every purchase of etnies Jameson 2 and Jameson 2 Eco men’s and kid’s shoes as well as girl’s Caprice Eco and Circe Eco shoes. Good shit.
