The rain held off like a mofo for the Radcollector x etnies x LTD rooftop BBQ on Friday and not surprisingly shit popped off lovely. Friends from ESPN, Frank151, Nike, Burton, SHUT, Supreme, LRG, Shamele$$, Trouble & Bass, 10Deep, Village Slum, Mighty Healthy, Stoked Mentoring, StyleSite, Madbury Club and more joined the Radcollector, etnies and LTD fam for Coronas, Tanteo, and an endless supply of meat on the grill. In other words, a rooftop party done right. A bunch of flicks after the jump.
Anyone lucky enough to be on the global hunt for shred spends the majority of their time doing just that, hunting, which usually means endless hours on planes, trains, and automobiles along the way. While there are plenty of tech’d out ways to transport all your shit from time zone to time zone, sometimes you want to step it up. The Taylor travel bag from Comune is exactly that step up. A buttery black waxed denim that’s still rugged with room for kicks and hats as well as equipped with nice extras like waterproof zips and PU handles, this is a bag for the slightly more sophisticated shredder.
Official has just dropped in on soccer madness with a particularly rad t-shirt. The 48 piece limited edition MessiRooneyDinho flips training kit colors with the last names of Lionel Messi, Wayne Rooney, and Ronaldinho, three of 2010’s top players who also happen to wear jersey #10. Definitely a must have for any football fiend. Available online here.
Although he’s had more “day in the life” videos than almost any athlete out there, when you have a life like Nigel Sylvester, there’s never a shortage of material for another. Nigel’s latest “Go All Day” from Gatorade is by far the raddest yet. From shredding mad spots in the city to an impromptu photo shoot at 21 Mercer with none other than Mel D. Cole to a late night wile out at BOB, Nigel gets it in. If you are from NY you’ll recognize mad people in this video, if you’re not you’ll appreciate it for its sick cinematography and banger backing track from Donnis.

GoodWood NYC, who have collabed recently with Nike 6.0 and DC and whose pieces are favored by the likes of Louie Vito and Trouble Andrew, have just dropped their latest piece, the limited edition World Cup Medallion. Brasil, Germany, Italy, Spain, England, Mexico and the good ol US of A (who actually have a pretty gnarly squad this year) all got laced with medallions to match their national colors. Cop one here right now. More looks after the jump.
Nike 6.0 just continues to get it right, this time with the announcement that they are jumping into the women’s apparel game this fall. The fact that all the ladies on the team are gorgeous plus photography by supermodel Helena Christiansen should all but guarantee a successful launch.
Think the perfect girl isn’t out there? You haven’t met Daria Werbowy. Not only is she the 9th highest paid supermodel in the world, she shreds better than you too. Check her out in new issue of EXPN Magazine, the action sports cousin/insert to ESPN the Magazine this month, looking fly in head to toe Burton AK and talking to Radcollector’s Tim Brodhagen about throwing backside 180’s and how shredding compares to modeling. More photos from the shoot by our very own Craig Wetherby can be found at TheGoodLife! More looks at the EXPN layout after the jump.
