The one upside of a natural disaster is that sometimes it creates some sick new terrain to shred. Christchurch, New Zealand local rippers Jack Woodrow, Kent Edgeworth, Kurt Green, Tom Clark, Shane Jones, James Kingstom, Zak Gray, and Ben McConnell hit the streets right after the carnage of the quake there for this edit.

Sharks Prefer Fish to Surfers

Hawaiian NBC affiliate KHNL had a story this week about how fast Blacktip sharks can accelerate when they are after something and included video that showed two surfers within striking distance. They also included an expert that said that even though they’re equipped with unrivaled killing abilities, a Blacktip has never attacked a human. That’s definitely good to know. Via Boardistan.
