Supra opened a new retail flagship store in their own backyard of Santa Monica, California and threw a party to celebrate it last Thursday night with Jim Greco, Chad Muska, Terry Kennedy, Boo Johnson, Furby Keelan Dadd and more. Add sets from DJ Spider and RL Grime and a grip of free booze and you had one epic opening. See columnist Jeff Sanico’s full recap here.

Last night the surviving member of NYC’s 1990’s skateboard community came out in droves to Milk studios for a retrospective from director/artist/provocateur Larry Clark. Most famous for his debut movie “Kids,” the installation was not as much about Clark’s work as it was about memorabilia from the era. Items included “vintage” t-shirts, posters, and hoodies as well as relics from his films. Check out some more photos from Michael Cohen after the jump.

NYC and Rio de Janeiro based artist PIXOTE has his first solo show opening in Brooklyn tonight with Agora/Now. The artist, who’s Pixação style has been dominating the five boros for the last three years, and who also contributes art to the Trouble Gang, will have all new works on display at the Trumbull Gallery in Williamsburg until July 27. Last Friday night was the opening of The Hunt, a new shop in NYC that specializes in one of a kind vintage Americana items and oddities at 72 Orchard Street in the LES. Shop partners Jake Lamagno, Dylan Rieder, and Steven Ditchkus hosted the opening which was filled with tons of unique pieces and photography from Craig Wetherby and Jimmy Fontaine.
