Last night was the opening of the Vans DQM General store in Soho. The store sports a vintage inspired interior design and was filled with guests who enjoyed drinks, food, and a live performance from Ray Barbee and the Mattson 2. Akcomplice has teamed up with one of their long-term retailers, Fuzion to create a unique, collaborative store space in downtown Santa Barbara, California. The interior will remain a secret until the store unveiling party, which will be held on June 2nd at 7:30pm PST and will showcase an exhibit of Akomplice’s lineage plus music and art.

For a more cultured way to spend your 4/20, Milk Studios in NYC is opening their Milk Gallery Underground tonight featuring “the most visionary and provocative emerging photographers” including Taji Ameen who’s portrait of The Gonz is included. Hit the jump for full info.

Taking it up a notch from their counterpart in NYC, the re-opening of the Oakley Flagship store in London tomorrow will feature a massive chandelier made out of 4000 pairs of Frogskins and illuminated by changing colored lights. The Convent Garden store also features an 800 lb metallic angel with a 25 foot wing span as well a custom lab and complete Oakley product line. Check out some more looks after the jump.

Oakley opened their new flagship store in Times Square this past Thursday with a private party that drew the likes of Ryan Sheckler, Nigel Sylvester, and Rodney Torres as well as a wide range of NYC industry heads, media and brand fanatics. The new location, under MTV studios, carries a full range of Oakley products and features a custom sunglass bar in the back. One Distribution launched the grand opening of its retail space in the basement of famed London-based skate shop, Slam City Skates. Chad Muska, Stevie Williams, Ali Boulala, Horsey and Vaughan Baker helped kick off the opening of the KR3W and SUPRA concept shop along with a few hundred London heads.
