3D is everywhere these days; movies, TV sets, and now skateboarding photography book. Photographer Sebastian Denz and Carhartt have just dropped SKATEBOARDING.3D, a photography project involving team riders Scott Bourne, Giorgio Zattoni, Pontus Alv, Hugo Liard, Gabriel Engelke and Olly Todd shot all over the world in 3D. Travis Rice has expanded his impressive roster of projects with the opening of the Asymbol Gallery in Jackson Hole. The gallery will serve as a creative hub and marketplace for art and photos from the worlds of snow, surf and skate. Co-curated by Mike Parillo and launching with the works of Mike Parillo, Jamie Lynn, Ari Marcopoulos, Scott Lenhardt, Tim Zimmerman, Danny Zapalac, Adam Haynes, Jeff Curtes, Nick Russian, Mike Blabac, Matt French, Trent Mitchell as well as pieces from the I Am Snowboarding collection, all works included have never been available for purchase before. Asymbol has a teched-out online gallery on their website and will also be traveling their collection as a pop-up in cities around the world. For more go here.

Ed Templeton is about to drop a new book project called The Seconds Pass and will be previewing selections from it starting this Friday, February 23rd at the Roberts & Tilton Gallery in LA. The gallery show of the same name will run through April 3. Full info after the jump.

SkateDaily’s Derek Rinaldi just did a good piece on Todd Jordan for the Stereo site. Despite quietly amassing some of the best sponsors in skateboarding with Shut, Nike SB, and HiFi, its interesting that he is most comfortable behind the lens of his camera.
