In a bold move that is sure to ruffle some of the elite old feathers of the Olympic Commission, Terje Haakonsen and a battalion of riders today signed The Snowboarding 180 Olympic Charter in Oslo, Norway. Basically it states that unless current non-FIS slopestyle events will count towards Olympic qualification, none of them will participate in the Olympics if Slopestyle gets voted in. The cradle of the action sports world is poised to birth another nationwide trend with the recent announcement that full marijuana legalization has been added to the ballot for their upcoming state referendums in November. The Regulate, Control and Tax Cannabis Act would let anyone over 21 grow and possess an ounce of the green.
