Our friends at ESPN just posted a dope recap of Burton’s equally dope NYC premiere for their new flick The B. Following a track record of back to back bangers, Burton set this one off too with a three part affair that included an in-store at the Burton SoHo store with Jussi Oksanen, Kelly Clark, Freddi Kalbermatten, Mads Jonsson and Shaun White, multiple screenings at Tribeca Cinemas, and a gnarly after set at B.East. Go here for the full recap and gallery.
Burton’s premiere tour for The B is coming through to NY and they are poppin off a party at the SoHo flagship. On October 14, Shaun White, Mads Jonsson, Freddie Kalbermatten, Kevin Pearce, Jussi Oksanen, Kelly Clark, and Hannah Teter will all be in the building while Burlington’s finest DJ A_Dog holds it down on the ones and twos. Burton’s parties in the city are some of the sickest so plan accordingly.
Sure enough, the Forum Forever premiere went down according to plan – RBV’s, Colt 45, and crazy shredding. The Forum crew brought out a pretty mixed crowd from meatheads to mami’s but managed to avoid any major drama on the night. As Pat Moore put it, “I thought the premier was dope. Since Red Bull hooked up the space we got a much wider genre of people in there. There were lots of snowboarders but we also had people who were just generally interested in what was going on or just wanted to party so it was a good mix.” One thing is for sure, everyone was stoked on the video. All of this is sure to be followed by a massive group chant for early snow. Space will definitely be tight so rsvp asap, ok? Full info after the jump.

As we told you before with the release of the Todd Selby x Nike 6.0 Ben Horan shots, Nike 6.0 is going big into wakeskate. As a major jumping off, they will premiere their first-ever wakeskate movie, Aquafrolics, starring Horan, Nick Taylor, Matt Manzari, Andrew Pastura, James Balzer, and Silas Thurman in Orlando on Saturday, August 22 as part of the Surf Expo weekend. No longer wakeboarding’s little brother, wakeskate has evolved into a sublime artform owing way more to skateboarding than to wake any day. Won’t be in Orlando? Not to worry. Aquafrolics will be available in its entirety on the 6.0 site later this month. Stay tuned for more on this growing movement.
