Flip has a trippy new series with the Odyssey, featuring the work of LA artist Ivan Minsloff. The all wood decks for Geoff Rowley, Arto Saari, Ali Boulala, Luan Oliviera and David Gonzalez are hitting local skate shops now.
Referencing the vintage New York City Subway destination “roll signs”, 5Boro combines their favorite skate spots and stops to create the Subway Roll Sign decks. These decks will go fast so head over to 5Boro.com to cop one and hit the jump to see a gallery of photos shot downtown featuring NYC skate legend Harry “OG” Jumonji.
Flip got NYC artist and illustrator Jon Contino to flip a set of team decks for them, the result being a dope nod to old Coney Island with a bit of a tarot card twist to it. Get to know Contino is the video above and hit the jump to see the series up close.
Flip has gone ahead and made Lance Mountain’s youthful dream a reality with the release of the “Brigadier,” a pro model pool board with a “Bones Brigade” style skull graphic of his very own. Stereo has released a new deck series by artist Tim Kerr. The jazz-inspired set features boards for Chris Pastras, Jason Lee, Matt Rodriguez and Chris Miller and remind us in theme of Western Edition’s rad 2009 Miles Davis series. Get the Stereo boards at fine retailers now.
