We recently spotted this BUrton x Lifebeat collab board at SIA Snow Show in Denver. Lifebeat, a national non-profit that uses music to raise awareness and funds in the fight against HIV/AIDS teamed up with conic female hip-hop group Salt N Pepa and the result is dope as hell.
Next out of Aspen, Mark McMorris came out swinging and housed the slopestyle competition for his second gold in a row in that event. Attaining near Shaun White status with a highest-ever 98 points, the actual Shaun White came in 5th. Check it out.
Next up in X Games news, Candian Louif Paradis followed up his X Games Real Snow video gold with a gold in the real life version of the competition. That’s pretty chill. Up for grabs is the fan favorite award with Eeero Ettala and Frank April still in the running. Go here to vote.
The rad thing about X Games is that after months of hype, the actual games blaze by in one mega weekend. Starting our update on the winners, check out Torstein Horgmo’s switch backside triple cork, which he stomped flawlessly on his way to a gold medal. Mark McMorris and Stale Sandbech rounded out the top three.
While the X Games are raging in Aspen, NYC’s TheGoodLife! has posted up with Sailor Jerry to create the Cabin. A quick getaway in downtown, the Cabin features haircuts from Frank’s Chop Shop NYC, tattoos from Downtown Terry Brown, music from Roofeeo, beer from PBR and of course TheGoodLife! dominoes. Check out a few shots by Laura Austin for Radcollector after the jump.

Every year ThirtyTwo holds a top secret boot camp for a select group of retailers and media to test and give feedback on the next season’s product. This year Tim Brodhagen headed up to Government Camp, Oregon for sessions at Meadows and Timberline to see ThirtyTwo’s full 2013-14 line including signature product from Chris Grenier and Joe Sexton and collabs with LRG and Crab Grab. Also, make sure to catch cameos from some of your favorite shred bloggers including Transworld’s Hondo, Coolhunting’s Graham Hiemstra, YoBeat’s Justin Parkhurst and Radcollector’s Brad Clarke.
