We recently spotted this BUrton x Lifebeat collab board at SIA Snow Show in Denver. Lifebeat, a national non-profit that uses music to raise awareness and funds in the fight against HIV/AIDS teamed up with conic female hip-hop group Salt N Pepa and the result is dope as hell.

We love it when skate and snow team up and that’s what Thirtytwo and DGK did with this limited edition smiley face snowboard. These boards weren’t made for retail but strictly for the homies. Skateboarding and snowboarding collide with the release of the “Joystick “series of snowboards by Burton featuring images from New York City skateboard photography book Full Bleed. Burton’s Soho Flagship store hosted TheGoodLife! produced launch event for the 2013 collaboration where guests enjoyed treats from The Meatball Shop with drinks from PBR, Smirnoff, and music by DJ Smoke L.E.S.. The Crosby Press was in the mix and got a chance to connect with the books creator, Alex Corporan and Radcollector’s Brad Clarke for their thoughts about the epic night. Last night the vanguard of NYC skateboarding and snowboarding connected for the launch of the Joystick series of snowboards by Burton featuring images from the book Full Bleed. TheGoodLife! powered event featured a first look at the series with Full Bleed’s Alex Corporan, Ivory Serra, and Andre Razo, a silent auction to assist the Red Cross’s Sandy efforts, music by DJ Smoke L.E.S. and refreshments from PBR, Smirnoff, and The Meatball Shop. Just don’t call it a promo. This year PBR has linked with GNU to create a super limited edition, fully rideable PBR custom snowboard. Handmade in the USA by Mervin and based on GNU’s Carbon Credit Series, the PBR comes in 156cm and 159cm with only 200 made in each length. The brainchild of PBR’s Steve Nilsen, this puts collaboration where it’s the raddest – on snow. Check out some detailed looks after the jump.

Its almost winter which means time to shred so were giving you a chance to win K2 x Airblaster Happy Hour collab snowboard. The idea behind the collab was to create a graphic that had never been done before. The concept was to push the limits of a blank board. The end result is clean solid colors and they look dope. One of our favorite board graphics for next season is easily the super rad “Sorry for Partying” Artifact from Rome. Come to think of it, that would be a useful tattoo too. The 2013 Artifact is hitting Rome dealers now.
