Change by Andrew Hardingham

Have you ever wanted to see Andrew Hardingham’s life played out in Canadian currency over a wood chopping block? Of course you have and the dudes at Updown knew it. That’s why they made this video. No other intro is really necessary.

Point Break Live

Rad Collector - Point Break Live
You know this is gonna be some shit! Nike 6.0 is throwing down beaucoup festivities at the Motel No Tell over the next couple of weeks but this one may just take the cake. This Sunday, July 19th, invited guests will get a chance to see and participate in Point Break Live: Adrenaline Edition. What the hell is Point Break Live you ask? Why it’s a live action version of the Xtreme cinema classic where audience members are pulled in to re-enact pivotal scenes. This could finally be your chance to channel Johnny Utah in public!

Dogtown Knives

Rad Collector - Dogtown Knives
In some “why the hell not” as well as some “can’t believe no one did this before” news, someone has made knives with mini skateboards for handles. They’re definitely radder than a tech deck, however the overall gulliness of Snake Head Knives’ site does raise a little doubt as to whether these things are legit or not. See for yourselves here. Via Skate and Annoy. Another blade after the jump.

Scarpar – The Anywhere Board?

28 April 2009, 17.34 | Posted in Random, Uncategorized, WTF, dork material, strange stuff | 2 comments »

Once again, we’re showing you another big leap in stupid hybrids. The people behind Scarpar wanted to “extend the snowboard season” which they say is quite brief in Australia. Some say that the skateboard was made so that surfers could still surf even if waves were flat. Will Scarpar be the next step in boarding? I doubt it. But, to be honest, I think that could at least be fun to try.

BMX Museum For Sale

Rad Collector - BMX Museum For Sale
Here’s a crazy one. There is a BMX museum for sale on ebay right now. Crazier than that is the fact that the museum is all housed in the back of a truck trailer in Wisconsin. This dude has strictly vintage 1984 thru 1988 bikes including a 1985 Mongoose FS 1, a 1988 Redline RL 20II Prostyler, and a 1987 Gt Pro Performer. Check out the video walk-thru!

How dumb could it get? Magnetboards

15 April 2009, 17.19 | Posted in Skateboarding, dork material, strange stuff | 2 comments »

Just when you thought you’ve seen all the stupid stuff, it gets worse. Some days ago, we’ve shown you the Ollie Buster and now it’s the Magnetboard. Probably nothing new, but i just stumbled over this new piece of stupidity. I mean, if you can’t bust an ollie, just start rollerblading, scooters or hoola hoop…
Really wanna see these clowns bail on a 12-stair Lipslide.

Chris Cole on a Miniboard

bild 1 Chris Cole on a Miniboard
It’s more likely something you buy your 4-year old nephew to get him (probably) into skateboarding, but nothing grown up men play with – miniboards. If you ever tried to skate on one of those you know how hard it is to only bust a plain and simple ollie or pop it into a grind. But what Zero Pro Chris Cole is doing here on a mini is just amazing. BS Tailslide Big Spin offs? Kickflip 50/50 on stair ledges? Lipsliding a rail? Wait a minute – that’s after effects, right? Check the video on Zero Skateboards.

Shaun White | Breaking News

Rad Collector - Shaun White Breaking News
Method Magazine has just broken some pretty mega news about Shaun White, apparently he’s going into acting instead of the Olympics. Go here for the full story. Don’t forget what today is though!

Bud Light Lime Commercial

Now that nobody has any dough, they are turning to skating to sell shit? Seems a little weird for sure but it doesn’t mean that its not pretty damn entertaining. Peep this bugged out video of a skateboarding lime done by Ty Evans, the same dude that did the Burnquist Nestle ad. You can’t front, the lime kinda kills it… but he’s pushing mongo. Definitely WTF. Skateboarding has been co-opted by the corporate world in some pretty wack ways throughout its history, but every once in a while they get it right. Look at this shit! Via Teamworks.
