Apparently, today is Video Thursday at Rad Collector, so next up we got the hot new episode of Updown’s the Erik Pants Show. This time, Mr. Pants is off to the Five & Dime Tradeshow up in T Dot for some good ol fashioned streetwear fun. Five & Dime goes goes down today and tomorrow.
Rad Collector spotted Apollo Cutts doing his thing at Crossroads, now peep the video he put together featuring Nyjah Huston, Theotis Beasley, Antwuan Dixon, Shake Junt, Hubba Wheels and Neckface.
Crossroads, Jamie Thomas and Blackbox’s anti-tradeshow tradeshow opened today along side of its sister shows ASR and Class. Although there was a lot of speculation that the show wouldn’t be the same under ASR’s ownership, this pic should give you an idea of the caliber of heads on premises. Erik Ellington and Jim Greco with young buck hustler Apollo Cutts. Apollo was so gassed on these dudes that he walked them through how he envisioned each would hit the untouched spots that John Cardiel took him to on In The Cutts # 6. It was like watching the show in real life. We’ll have more from Crossroads and Class and ASR this week.
Although we aren’t done with the snowboard highlights from Denver, Rad Collector has just touched down in San Diego to see what’s poppin at the Class and Crossroads shows at ASR. Ahh the life of the tradeshow circuit. We’ll have product for you today but for now peep this preview video featuring Jim Shubin getting the Class rundown from show director Jason Bates.
Encinitas California wouldn’t be described as a cultural hub although it is for sure a pretty rad beach town. Despite it having less that 60,000 residents, it is the home to one of the top lifestyle boutiques in the country, UNIV. In this video, ASR’s on-air host, Jim Shubin, get the grand tour from UNIV’s Tim Swart. ASR kicks off on Wednesday, February 3rd in San Diego.
Concluding our coverage of Agenda, Volkswagen gave Rad Collector an exclusive opportunity to push a 2010 Volkswagen Golf GTI from LA to Huntington Beach. A whip in it’s own class, between the turbo charged intercooler engine and the dual GPS displays, the GTI proved to be the perfect accoutrement to the show. Peep our on-the-spot shoot featuring Luis Tolentino along with Shut, Famous, Diamond, Mighty Healthy, Good Wood, DVS, and CtotheJL after the jump. Photography by Chris Lee.
If you couldn’t tell already, there was a lot of hot shit at this Agenda, and we are gonna keep serving it up. This next one isn’t product related but speaks more to the ambiance of the show. You already saw Bigfoot putting in work on a mural in out first post from the show, now check out this ill piece Ed Templeton did for RVCA using the model Erin Wasson. Dope.
Also unveiled at Agenda today was the new creme de la creme headphone from upstart turned major player headphone brand Aerial7. The Royale Absolute is $400 of sonic happy endings and comes in a plush mix of materials that are rumored to be un-PETA friendly. Sounds nice, right? These ear-Cadillacs drop in March. More looks after the jump.
Even with pretty much every relevant company in streetwear, skate and action sports lifestyle showing, Agenda still feels more like a big homie get together than it does hard core tradeshow and a quick look at some of the faces in the crowd today will tell you that this is where shit is popping off. Eric Koston, P-Rod, Theotis Beasley, Manny Santiago, Lizard King, and Luis Tolentino, are just a few off the heads getting it crackin in the OC this weekend. We’re on the scene with exclusive coverage of the raddest shit here. Peep some shots from the show after the jump.
