Since it’s introduction, Nixon’s Player has been one of our favorite models from the brand. It’s stripped down retro styling hooked us immediately and Nixon’s willingness to play with the colors and materials (The Rubber Player etc) kept the watch on our wrist for a while. So it’s with perfect timing that Nixon has decided to bust out the Big Player an XL version that lets people know you are a player not definitely not playing around. All matte black is above, see it in silver/black and all gold after the jump.

G-Shock x Supra Collab Release Party

Last night G-Shock and Supra hosted a premier event at Skylight West in New York City to celebrate the release of their collaboration watch and sneaker. Guests in the packed venue enjoyed complimentary drinks from Stoli and music from Dj Mirandom and Flying Lotus. Notable attendees included Stevie Williams, Nigel Sylvester, French Montana, Raekwon, Too $hort, Boo Johnson, Keelan Dadd, Mike Malbon, RB Umali, and more. Of all Nixon’s watches, the Time Teller P is definitely not the stand out but we’re definitely feeling the concept behind the new Dip-Dye Collection. With fading color gradients, the Dip-Dye treatment makes the Time Teller P an infinitely more interesting piece. By synchronizing the watch with users’ cell incoming calls are visible on the display as are emails, Facebook notifications, Twitter updates, and more. Nixon 48-20 Chrono LTD

Nixon has added another chunky marine watch to their collection with the 48-20 Chrono. An offshoot of their popular 51-30 series the 48-20 is powered by Japanese Miyota wide-eye quartz movement and rolls in at around $500. The LTD edition model with baby blue hour and minute hands is available now but you’ll have to move quick to scoop one. More looks after the jump.
