Burton and G-Shock have joined forces to bring you an indestructible digital snowboard watch, the GDF-100. The black rubber watch sports turquoise accents, a Cordura nylon strap and Burton logo on case and backlight. Obviously the timepiece measures temperature, pressure, altitude and anything else you may need on the mountain. Look for the GDF-100 to drop in November and hit the jump for some more looks.
In some lighter hearted news, Swiss watch brand Home has announced that Travis Rice has joined their team. This awesome welcome video is further proof that T-Rice is the raddest man in the game.

Last week G-Shock hosted an exclusive 30th Anniversary event at The Manhattan Center in New York City where Slaughterhouse was the opening act for Eminem who took the stage for a private concert following the news of a G-Shock and Eminem collaborative timepiece that will be released in Fall of 2013. Prior to the performance an intimate meet-and-greet with the G-Shock athlete roster and the creators of the legendary timepiece took place upstairs for Vip’s and media. Guests included Eric Haze, Stevie Williams, Kazuhiro Kokubo, Greg & Anne-Marie Dacyshyn, Craig Wetherby, Ice T, Coco, Busta Rhymes and many more. Hit the jump for a gallery of pics from the evening. Tech specs for the GLX150X-7 include: easy to read tide/moon data graph with contrasting LCD, 200M water resistance, auto super illuminator LED with flash alert, world time (29TZ/48 cities), two multi-function alarms and one snooze alarm, 1/100th second stopwatch with auto-start, countdown timer, 12/24 hr formats, and mute function. The Swiss-made timepiece includes freedive minutes chrono, date window, 48mm stainless steel case, 5-hand Swiss quartz movement, 30 ATM, rubber bezel and screw down crown at the 9 O’clock position and comes in all black, rosegold/black and white. After rocking with the url NixonNow.com forever, Nixon has finally come up on the coveted url Nixon.com. Apparently they were able to secure it from the US Government who were holding it for a planned re-animation of Richard Nixon’s corpse that was scrapped when the Government attended Coachella and realized that a hologram could be just effective. Everybody wins!
