Vice is opening their annual photo exhibition this Thursday July 16 at the Spencer Brownstone Gallery in NYC. Featuring familiar vets like Angela Boatwright and Jerry Hsu as well as Vice mainstays like Terry Richardson and Richard Kern, there should be a pretty rad range of shit in the mix. Homage Brooklyn’s hommage français for Bastille Day went off lovely this past Sunday. As Jeff Pang emceed, every grom in BK went balls out for highest ollie, best trick and illest manny while frenchies and yuppies oohed and ahhed, drank Ricard Pastis and tried to avoid getting hit in the head by a skateboard as they played boules. ThirtyTwo, known best for their impossibly light boots, are finally unveiling their long awaited line of outerwear in NY this week and are throwing a little jammy jam to celebrate. The etnies space in SoHo is gonna have the line on display, JP Walker’s gonna be in the house, and they are even showing a sneak peek of the ThirtyTwo x Stepchild movie “This Video Sucks.” There will also most certainly be beer. It’s not just “King Of” and the Blabac tour, DC is keepin it mad global with the Project Granite Asia Tour. The whole sqidad of Colin McKay, PJ Ladd, Ryan Smith, Jani Laitiala, Matt Miller, Marquise Henry, Greg Myers, Wes Kremer, and Evan Smith all bounced over to Asia for a week of demos, signings and skating.
