NYC Skate scene kingpin Billy Rohan took a trip down to DC over the weekend to attempt to entice President Obama into a game of skate. Obama didn’t show to throw down his presidential manny to kickflip but it did make for some rad pictures. Via The Skateboard Mag.

With Danny Gonzalez retiring from skating due to injury last week, the sport says goodbye to a true innovator. Transworld Business gives us a bittersweet reminder with Danny’s part from 1999’s The Reason. It’s not hard to see why he finally had to chill on the ankles, damn!

The “Sad” graphic is a stirring homage to the iconic album Bad and really cuts to the heart of all the circus surrounding the Gloved One’s passing. After all it is just sad. Eastern Bikes just dropped a rad little edit on their blog featuring Brad Starry, Logan Derberry, Phil Jones ,Seamus, McKeon, Chuck Chuck, Lil Keyante, and Josh McCarter shredding a nice mixed bag of terrain.
