Today we got a first look at the Cannondale “Stealth” concept bike. Aside from the looks, the bike has a lot of impressive features, including a special new fork construction in all carbon fibre, as well as a monocoque carbon frame. The matt paint is just another point of attraction. Inspired by the Stealth fighter jet, the Cannondale bike is an impressive piece of sports equipment that we will hopefully soon see on the market.

We present you the latest pack from Fitted Hawaii, entitled The Ki’s. The pack, which consists of a New Era cap, a t-shirt and a skateboard deck, pays homage to Waikiki.

“Starting with the cap, it features an all over print of the many subtleties that are associated with Waikiki, full moons, tropical flowers, palm trees and the calm ocean, which runs under the brim as well. The inside features a really gangster, neon green sating lining with the infamous tri-lock pattern which gives it more “oomph.” The tee is printed on all black and features a 3M reflective tri-lock print on the front, the crown on the back, Aloha Served Daily on the right sleeve and the crest on the right. And as you read up above a little earlier, we are proud to introduce our first ever Fitted skateboard deck in which we collaborated with APB (A’ala Park Boardshop) on. The deck utilizes the same “Ki’s” print as seen on the hat, on both the top and bottom of the skate deck.”

Once again artist Grotesk gets together with 5 Boro. He designed the Pigeon League deck a couple of years ago for 5 Boro, playing with varsity symbols. For the upcoming season Grotesk remixed the original design, added some silver to it and also designed matching wheels.

Expect the 5 Boro x Grotesk Pigeon League 2008 Pack to be released soon.

Element has collaborated with Imaginary Foundation on a series of skatedecks.

“The Imaginary Foundation is a think tank from Switzerland that does experimental research on new ways of thinking and the power of the imagination. They hold dear a belief in human potential and seek progress in all directions. The small clandestine team is headed up by the mysterious “Director,” a 70 something uber intellectual who’s father founded the Dadist movement. Avoiding direct publicity the team has sought streetwear as an unlikely vehicle for bringing their ideas beyond the academic realm and into popular culture.”

Visually the graphics by Imaginary Foundation have always been directly identifiable, which is also the case with the skatedecks. Look out for a release in the coming weeks.

Just like many other US brands, also Lakai produces a special collection for the Japanese market that comes out with lots of interesting styles every season. Here we give you a look at the Manchester Select and the Carroll Select that have just come out at Mita.

The Lakai Manchester Select looks great. All red upper, white details – a super clean sneaker that you can wear with pretty much anything. About the Carroll Select we are less excited. Black patent leather upper and all-over design just seems like it was something that worked yesteryear.

The Lightning Bolts Art Show, presented by Nike 6.0, has aligned with the Athlete Recovery Fund for a final exhibit Dec. 11th- Dec 14th at the historic Montalbán Theater in Hollywood. Original works from over 40 artists will be exhibited than auctioned off online to raise money for ARF to aid injured action sports athletes. The online auction will begin Weds. If you are still looking for a new snowboard for this season and do not want to have the same that everybody else has, you might want to take a closer look at the Ransom x Endeavor boards that were released today. The “Rampage” board comes in a black and a white colorway, in 154 and 158 lenghts, and features overall rather subtle Ransom artwork on both sides of the board.

In 2004, former Powell-Perralta designer Sean Cliver set out to create the ultimate catalog of skateboard graphic art. Titled Disposable the attempt had a few gaps. In January, Clivers second edition, Disposable II: A Skateboard Collector’s Bible, hits the shelves via Ginko Press. This effort is more comprehensive, and aside from the boards, features stories and interviews from some of the industries best know.

In honor of skater Justin Brock, Huf produced the “Wobbly H” t-shirt. The letter H being, the 8th letter in the alphabet, the “Wobbly H” is of course figure 8 in the set. It is now available in Huf stores in San Francisco and LA.

The iconic Street Machine Skateshop got together with artist André to collaborate on a complete skateboard. The deck and the wheels feature the art of André. The set is limited to 130 pieces and will be released on December 15th at Street Machine, Black Block and colette. Via LaMJC.
