We get a surprise banger today with this look at two decks from adidas x CTRL of all people. Not much on the story behind this yet but if your Japanese is on point you could probably figure it out by checking out the post over at Cadmus Family.

Once a year the elite of European skateboarding is hailing to Berlin for the big get together at the Adidas Skateboard Clash. This year, the international invitation only contest will take place on the weekend 23.-25. of may and, as the years before, will have competitions in Street, Pool and the massive Vertramp where competitors battle for 9.000 € of prize money.
One of Germany’s hot Pros, Jan Kliewer just finished plans for the new street area, that will be finished by then. Check Skatehalle Berlin for further infos and a sketch of the new street area and make sure to check the contest in Germany’s capital.

Upper Playground is releasing an exclusive sneaker series with adidas Originals next week. The new shoe line features four signature designs from fine artists Sam Flores, David Choe, Herbert Baglione, and hip hop artist Aesop Rock.

Beginning July 17, 2008, Upper Playground will release a new sneaker every Thursday. Each sneaker design will be available for sale at Upper Playground retail stores and online at beginning at 8 am PST. Each pair of sneakers will retail for $150.00.

The new sneaker series is not the first time Upper Playground has collaborated with adidas Originals. In 2005, Upper Playground partnered with adidas Originals to create a limited-edition BBQ themed sneaker in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the adidas Superstar.

We Sold Out has got the newest make up of the Adidas Superskate. Once again the shoe proves a great base for quirky art work. This model has been developed for their skater Sieben. More images after the jump. 

The Fall ‘08 line from Adidas Skateboarding sees more strong releases from the hand of skateboarding legend and artist Mark Gonzales. Of particular note is the Roster Mid,which takes classic Adidas Basketball, adds Mark’s brilliant hand and pads the shoe specifically for skateboarding. The sketched stripes on the Doley slip are also a great aesthetic twist. All is nicely complemented by the sleek profile of the Doley lace up. Aside from sneakers Adidas also worked with Gonz on a few tees, hoodies and jackets. (via Sneakersbr).

We show you a great new initiative by Adidas – The Left Right Project. The Surface 2 Air New York office and Upper Playground each got to customize an oversized Superstar sneaker.
