Nixon is throwing a family and friends art event in NYC on September 22. Art Mosh, as it’s being called, will almost certainly be less violent than the name suggests but should nevertheless feature some controlled chaos from the likes of Grant Ellis, Mike Carter, Craig Wetherby, Angela Boatwright, Ellen Stagg, Urban Junior, Rob Machado, Marlena Detrich, Dustin Ortiz, Keith Malloy, and many more. Vice is opening their annual photo exhibition this Thursday July 16 at the Spencer Brownstone Gallery in NYC. Featuring familiar vets like Angela Boatwright and Jerry Hsu as well as Vice mainstays like Terry Richardson and Richard Kern, there should be a pretty rad range of shit in the mix. The big weekend in NY starts today with the 5Boro 13th Anniversary Party and Art Retrospective. Poppin off at the Red Bull Space, the 5Boro squad will be displaying every deck they has ever made, more than 250 in total, as well as videos of all past team skaters, and an art and photo retrospective featuring Nardelli, Uncle Geez, Raza Uno, Thought Ninjas, Grotesk, Robert Mars, PK, Michael Sieben, Alessandro Zuek Simonetti, Christian Acker, Dylan Haley, Megumi Watanabe, Eddie Martinez, Sean Cronan, Allen Ying, Angela Boatwright, Ruby Lee, Lowrider, Stephan Marx, Allison Malecki, Ewok, Dave Reinbold, AKA, The CollaBros, Circus Media, Andy Madsen, Jimmy Gonzales, Karen Stern, Fletcher Ohmart, and Craig Metzger.
