Seriously, we just cancelled all of our beach trips for the year. We’re kidding, but this story could have had a way crazier ending, just watch and enjoy the ride!

Mark Appleyard has spent his entire impressive career letting his skateboarding speak for him. Now in this first edition of Arnette’s new #LIVEARNETTE series, he uses his voice to narrate a short retrospective about his road to success. There is akteboarding too.

A couple weeks ago the New York Times ran an article entitled “Has Snowboarding Lost it’s Edge?” which despite the corny headline, made some good points about the decline in the sport’s overall steez thanks to aging and skiers biting everything that made snowboarding rad. With this in mind we are stoked to see Arnette fighting the good fight with a rad Bad Brains collabo goggle for next season. Let’s just hope the plankers don’t get ahold of it. Arnette is going full steez this season with a two frame series dedicated to Zac Marben. Featuring a Skylight in red matte with gold chrome lenses and a Series 3 in gray/black with a shadow chrome lens, both goggles feature some of Marben’s signature artwork. Peep the Series 3 after the jump.

They say good things come in pairs right? Whether they say it or not, that’s exactly what’s up at Arnette with the introduction of two new styles, the Dropout and the Witch Doctor. Using Fuzzy tech that “encase Arnette’s crystal clear lenses inside satiny-soft frames for pure sunglass awesomeness,” and Inked tech for “top-secret liquid dispersal process to make each one unique,” these frames pull out all the stops for style and also use Arnette’s A.C.E.S. ( Arnette Creative Exchange System) that lets you mix and match the arms with other models like the Moolah and Dibs. All that is a long way to say that these are fire! The third and final episode of Arnette’s ‘Multiple Personality Disorder’ series, ‘The Grind’ is now live. Chippa Wilson, Mason Ho and Zeke Lau trade off grinding left tubes, while not far away Nathan Fletcher pulls into some sizable waves of his own.

Arnette has released “Multiple Personality Disorder” a web video series featuring the global athletes from the Arnette surf team, including Josh Kerr, Mason Ho, Chippa Wilson, Freddy Patacchia, Ford Archbold, Nathan Fletcher, and Ezekiel Lau. Peep how the crew does it in and out of the water as they travel through Nicaragua, Mexico and Samoa.

Our amigos over at Arnette are getting ready to celebrate their 20th year in the game and we couldn’t be more stoked for them. To commemorate this achievement they are reissuing a classic frame called the Catfish. Peep the retro inspired logo on the Havana colorway above and expect four more colors to drop in November. These shades will release in limited numbers worldwide so don’t sleep on grabbing a pair. More looks after the jump.

Arnette has just released a new frame called The Bacon, an aviator in six colors designed to get you out of a speeding ticket due to its pleasurable effect on all ranks of highway patrol. See the rest of the colors after the jump.

Next up in Arnette’s dope offering of sunglasses for summer 2012 are the Glory Daze. These full frame shades are perfect for keeping a low profile in the streets.
