To celebrate the release of Art of Flight last week Travis Rice has enlisted his board sponsor Lib Tech for a limited edition snowboard tied to the film. Featuring exclusive art by longtime T-Rice collaborator Mike Parillo, the board comes in a 161.5cm twin pointy pow as well as twin blunt jib shapes (153cm and 157cm). Available only at core snow shops, the board comes bundled with a DVD of Art of Flight as well as a limited edition book about the making of the film.

In celebration of the world premiere of Art of Flight in NYC this week, we caught up with T-Rice for an exclusive personal account of his raddest moment during the filming of the epic film. Surprisingly it doesn’t even involve shredding.

The stars and then some came out last night for the World Premier of Travis Rice’s opus of epic proportions: The Art of Flight. The Red Bull Media House and Brain Farm production lived up to all the hype as it was showcased in full glory at a booze and babe filled bash at NYC’s famed Beacon Theatre. Everyone from Pat Moore, John Jackson, Circe Wallace, Mark Landvik, The Mitrani brothers, Nicolas Muller and many many more were in the house (and then at the ridiculously crazy after-party) for what will live in infamy as one of illest shredtaculars in all history. It’s crazy how much different of a feel metal brings to the Art of Flight Trailer. AOF world premiere goes down on September 7, 2011 at the Beacon Theatre in NYC. We’ll be there.
