Rad Collector - Altamont x Boogie x Murphy's Law Party Recap
Last night, NY’s skate, art, and hardcore scenes collided at the Altamont space for Boogie’s “The Best of Times” show featuring the legendary Murphy’s Law. It had everything a party with these three entities should have: tons of beer, sick photography, and murder in the mosh pits. Murphy’s Law played right on the floor in a basement that felt like it might run out of air at any moment – it was classic NYHC. Shut, Supreme, Frank151, DMS, DQM, LTD, Invisible, and more were in the building. Full photo recap after the jump.

Rad Collector - Altamont Presents: Boogie "The Worst of Times"
The collaboration between Boogie and Altamont continues with Boogie’s upcoming show, “The Best of Times” hitting the Altamont space in SoHo starting April 30th. The show should be nothing less than the ill imagery you’ve come to expect from Boogie and will run until May 15. If you are in NY, there’s an opening party on the 30th. Full info after the jump.

Sao Paolo By Boogie – Book And Skatedeck

03 July 2008, 22.26 | Posted in Skateboarding | No comments »

highsnobiety - sao paolo boogie deck book

Born in Belgrade Serbia, street photographer Boogie possesses a rare talent for documenting the human condition. His black and white photographs capture the character and the inhabitants of some of the most tumultuous cities in the world.
Traditionally photojournalism focuses more on content–recording a moment or an event–and less upon formal concerns. However, Boogie gracefully integrates both a documentarian’s eye with a finely honed artistic sensibility. Many of his images are at once deeply poignant, and totally unsettling.
Boogie’s work has taken him from Serbia, to Cuba and throughout South America. In his new book, Sao Paulo, he features his remarkable impressions from one of Brazil’s poorest and most troubled urban metropolises. Boogie has also produced a new skate deck featuring his photography.
Both the deck and the book are now available here.
More images of both the deck and the book after the jump.
