Radcollector fam and NYC fixture Mel D. Cole has been a rising star in the photography world for more than a minute and has captured some of the raddest interactions between action sports and pop culture. The latest validation of his well deserved success comes in the form of this dope spot from Complex and Levi’s. “Something from Nothing,” that’s the name of the game.
In opening up some of their archives from the 60’s Life magazine recently republished som shots from a 1965 feature on skateboarding in NYC despite the visible cues that date the photo, the multicultural component of the NYC scene looks to be reppin as hard as ever.
