An environmentally conscious company since the beginning, etnies has been going to greater lengths each year to catch up with the expanding set of environmental issues around the world. Their latest project “Buy a Shoe, Plant a Tree” involves planting trees in Costa Rica for the ultimate completion of the etnies Rainforest. Check out the first in a series of videos on the project above.

etnies, who have been on the forefront of the Green movement since day one, have stepped it up once again with their “Buy a Shoe, Plant a Tree” project in Costa Rica. For every pair of Jameson 2 Eco’s sold, etnies will plant a tree in the Maleku reserve in northern Costa Rica, with the goal being to plant at least 35,000 trees to start a new thriving rainforest.
