Last night was the opening of the Vans DQM General store in Soho. The store sports a vintage inspired interior design and was filled with guests who enjoyed drinks, food, and a live performance from Ray Barbee and the Mattson 2. DQM and Lakai release the Pico shoe form their collabo “Everyday” pack. This spin on the Pico features an embossed leather Lakai logo on the heel with a “DQM Everyday” stamp on the heel of the sole.You can grab a pair in person at DQM or at the online store in grey, black and navy. Last Friday DQM hosted the Girl x Lakai demo here in NYC at 12th and A skatepark. After the sick demo the party headed over to Panda Bar in the LES and a midst the all day skate/booze session we managed to snap a couple flicks. Take a look after the jump.

On Friday July 1st, DQM will be hosting Girl Skateboards and Lakai Footwear riders for their first ever demo in New York. The all day affair will kick off at DQM then head over to 12 & A skatepark for a demo, and then finish off with a party at Panda Bar. If you’re in the area you wont want to miss this one. Ahh, this is the shit. On July 1 DQM and Girl will release the “Everyday” pack, a collection of staples celebrating skateboarding’s “anytime, anywhere” steez. The deck, hat, and t-shirt are in their words, “The perfect shape, a pocket tee and cover from the sun.” Individual looks after the jump.
