Fab 5 Special side ellesse x Special | The Assist
Italian shoe brand ellesse, who re-issued their classic 80’s basketball-turned-skateboarding shoe The Assist early last year, are continuing to work with the model and are now releasing a version in collaboration with Milan shop Special. The new version of the original red, white, and blue colorway now includes ostrich and patent leather and drops tomorrow in Italy. Check out some more looks after the jump.

ellesse heritage has released a suprisingly rad short film as part of their City Portraits series. The video, directed by Konstantinos Menelaou follows a day in the life of an anonymous musician/sound engineer/skateboarder who demonstrates why Berlin is easily a top 5 city in the world.

Ellese09 Ellesse Assist Re Issue
This takes us back. Italian footwear brand Ellesse has reissued the Assist, their legendary 80’s skate shoe rocked by the likes of Natas Kaupas and Jim Thiebaud. In comparison with today’s slimmed out style preference it’s nuts to see how chunky these things were, but they’re still pretty rad. Another look after the jump.
