éS just dropped their latest timeline piece today with a look back at 1999. The year famous for partying is also the year famous for Menikmati. For the launch, éS had Rodrigo TX take us on a little trip down shred memory lane. Go to www.skateboardingstartswith.es for more.
éS launches the latest installment of their timeline website today with a trip back to the glory days of 1998 when Kerry Getz, Rick McCrank and Brandon Turner first started running things. Peep the archives here.
eS recently caught up with Rodrigo TX in Brasil to talk about reaching a ten year milestone as being a major player on the eS team. Coming off a sick ender part in LRG’g first full length video and a knee surgery check out what Rodrigo had to say here. Props to Radcollector columnist Brian Jones on a dope interview.
You like free stuff, right? Well eS has a contest where you can win each collaboration shoe for the 2010 year. That’s 10 pairs of kicks yo! Two winners will be chosen and all you have to do is name the collab and what season they came out. Peep the official rules and where to sign up after the jump.
Somehow, éS was able to get visas for Mike Anderson, Justin Eldridge, Danny Garcia, Kellen James, Rick McCrank, John Rattray, Rodrigo TX, and Bobby Worrest and will be taking them through Europe next month to seek and destroy. The “To Europe With Love Tour” runs May 30th through June 12, stay tuned for recaps of the carnage.
èS has tapped the genius of Ron English for a collaborative Square One Mid. Way more subdued than other recent English collabs, the shoe features only a small heart and Ron English Propoganda logo on the side, saving the artwork for the sole which sports an English three eyed bunny staring through the clear tread. More images after the jump. Via FreshnGood.
éS has just dropped a pretty dope collabo with Japanese brand Flip the Script to celebrate their 15th year in business. The éS x Flip the Script Accel TT Hi is interesting because the shoe is one of éS’ lowest-end models, not what you’d normally see in a Japanese collab pack. Obviously these are only available in Japan. A look at the box after the jump. Via Unbar.
éS has just dropped the latest in their “Behind the Ad” series, this time featuring John Rattray. It’s a cool little look at the behind the scenes action involved in the high stakes world of skateboard advertising. éS also dropped an interview with Rattray as well as an old vid he shot with his homie Clint Peterson in 2007. Video is below, read the interview here.
Following their jacket collabo for the holidays, éS has put homies Bobby Worrest and Cycle in charge of another project. This time it’s this limited edition of Worrest’s First Blood. The black leather sneaker comes with yellow accents and Cycle’s artwork on the tongue and throughout the inside of the shoe. Drops this month at select éS dealers. More looks after the jump.
