Sure its great that skateboarding is the coolest thing in the world again but it is troublesome to see so many people walk around with skateboards that never get ridden. To address this Girl has released a deck that’s never meant to be ridden at all. The Hipster Board even carries the instructions “Warning! This board is for holding not riding. Grip at truck firmly with graphic facing out. Do not use for actual skateboarding.” So rad. Via MashKulture.

Ahh, this is the shit. On July 1 DQM and Girl will release the “Everyday” pack, a collection of staples celebrating skateboarding’s “anytime, anywhere” steez. The deck, hat, and t-shirt are in their words, “The perfect shape, a pocket tee and cover from the sun.” Individual looks after the jump.
On Sunday night, Girl held the world premiere for their much anticipated 3D movie Unbeleafable by Ty Evans. The film unspooled as part of the Levi’s Film Workshop at MOCA and the skate stars were in full force at the Downtown Independent Theater in LA. Radcollector correspondent and photographer Catherine Nieves was on hand for the festivities which included a Girl retrospective and presentation by Evans and the Girl crew.
