Dutch artist Zenk One has linked up with In4mation to present his solo show “An Artist Collection” at Kingdom Skateshop in Tilburg, Netherlands. The show, which kicks off this Friday March 5, features portraits of influential characters of our times from Keenan Milton to the RZA. For the opening, In4mation printed limited edition shirts featuring Zenk’s Slick Rick portrait, which may remind you of the Manik x Craig Wetherby deck from a couple years ago. Collabo masters Akomplice are back at it again with their new lookbook for fall 2009. In4mation, Bones and The Skateboard Mag have joined forces on a limited edition cruiser for the Grind for Life charity. Ten cruisers with shape and artwork by In4mation, limited edition Rat Bones II’s, Indy trucks, Diamond Supply hardware, Bones Reds bearings and Jessup grip have just gone up on ebay with 100% of proceeds going to Grind For Life, a charity that helps skateboarders and their families deal with the financial and emotional tolls of cancer. G-Shock’s mega bash on Wednesday night, “G-Shock The World,” had more treats than two christmases. In addition to the free flowing top shelf, endless nibblets, talent galore, and a full set by Kanyeezy, a bunch of announcements were made about G-Shock’s new action sports program. The new official team members are Stevie Williams for skate, Gabe Kling and Erica Hosseini for surf and Matt Hammer for snow. All were on hand for the party. On the product side, G-Shock announced collabo watches with Todd Jordan and Globe, adding to the In4mation, LRG and Surfriders collabos already announced. Hawaii’s In4mation has been a skate and streetwear heavy for a minute. With a unique perspective drawn from island culture as well as a firm understanding of the power of global relationships, the In4mation crew has worked their way up to a perch near the top of the trend making hierarchy. DGK got together with Hawaii’s In4mation crew to collaborate on two t-shirts and a matching skateboard deck. The t-shirts come in white and purple and the skateboard deck matching in purple. All three are limited to 100 pieces and will be available soon.

Stussy and In4mation come together again with another project that gives tribute towards something that is really special to both parties. Stussy and In4mation will be releasing a Skate Deck and T-Shirt to commemorate their upbringing in Hawaii. The Stussy Honolulu Chapter is managed by Mililani, Hawaii native Ian Okui who has grown up with the In4mation boys and they wanted to give this Sophomore release that feel of having fun and not caring about whats hot and whats not. When discussing everything with Rhandy (In4mation) he felt that we utilize a hand drawn graphic with that classic 80’s feel of an undisclosed store that everyone grew up going to getting that special Sk8 Combo.

The Sophomore release will be released only at the Stussy Honolulu Chapter Store, Stussy Direct Online Store and In4mation/Aloha Army stores in Honolulu, Hawaii. The pack will be released on 22nd of November.

In4mation has produced some great collaborations in the past, and based on what we’ve seen at Magic, the present and future are well accounted for as well. This G-Shock is the second from In4mation. Purple body with turquoise accents, the watch is certainly an eye catcher.
