NYC based startup company Kogeto is on Kickstarter looking for funding for their latest endeavor, Dot, a 360º panoramic video camera for the iPhone 4. If they can get it done, its a safe bet to say that amateur shred filmers worldwide will benefit. Support the project here.
The latest in skate inspired iPhone covers is easily the sickest one yet. High end case company Grove linked up with recycled skate deck jewelry maker MapleXO to create a super limited run of 50 iPhone 4 cases made from actual skate decks. Some more looks at the process behind sanding and slicing the decks into strips as well as the finished product after the jump. Via designboom.
With so much action in the iPhone case game, it’s crazy that no one came up with this before. Not only will your phone emulate a 7ply hard rock maple skate deck but the actual griptape backing doubles as an on the go nail file. Bust out a razor for some additional customization. Buy it here. More looks and a video after the jump.
There really isn’t anything groundbreaking about this short by Aaron Rose for Incase, but it is definitely cool to see that you can make some decent videos on the iPhone 4. Someone needs to get to work on an image stabilizer app pronto though.
