In some news from the way under-appreciated heartland, Distrikt has just done a board graphic for Boise, Idaho shop Prestige. The inspiration came from a fictional farm club baseball team as well as from beavers, actual and metaphorical alike. Via Kelly D. Williams.

Kelly D Williams has just laid down a historical document with his interview of OG skate artist Andy Howell. Published in Slap, the opening line gives a great summation: “Andy Howell rolled on to the spotlit scene at the very end of the ’80’s – early enough to share some space with artistic skate pioneers like Gonz, Natas, Miller, Blender and those in the pantheon, but late enough to take their influence and shape the next wave, on board and on canvas.” Read the whole thing here.

Behind the scenes design maestro, Kelly D Williams, who has been responsible for rad stuff from Analog to Converse to Nike has just released some dope new tees with 2K by Gingham. The multi-talented Kelly D. Williams at Club Mumble has just done an excellent interview with Jason Adams. Influential as both a skater and an artist, Adams has pretty much seen and done it all and spills it like fine wine: “I love wine and 8o’s emo music.
