Join Billy Rohan and Donny Barley for the 2011 King of Spring contest this Saturday April 23 in New York at the 12th & A Skatepark. The King of Spring event will be part of the Element Make it Count international contest series. The winner of the King of Spring event will be going to the finals at Element YMCA skate camp to compete for Element sponsorship and a trip to the Berrics with the Element team. We brought you Mighty Healthy’s video recap from Saturday’s King of Spring in Harlem, hosted by Alex Corporan, Billy Rohan and Chad Muska, which went down rather well despite the semi-wack weather. Spring is officially here and skateboarders in NYC can finally hit the streets again. To kick off skate season Alex Corporan and Billy Rohan are hosting the King of Spring Skateboard Showdown as part of the NYC Parks and Recreation’s Street Games 2009. A best trick contest with $3000 worth of prize money, the King of Spring is going down at Thomas Jefferson Park in Harlem on April 18. From Supreme to Shut to Vans, about 20 companies have thrown in their support. Full info after the jump.
