Tomorrow is the big day for LRG. The whole team will be out in LA celebrating the premiere of their first feature length video, Give Me My Money Chico. The film unspools at the El Rey theatre at 5515 Wilshire Blvd at 8pm directly followed by an after party featuring Curren$y, 9th Wonder and DJ Melo-D. If you wanna go, go early. To coincide with the release of their first full length skate feature, Give Me My Money Chico, LRG hooked up with DVS for a limited edition version of the Anthem. The Chico Anthem has a custom LRG tongue, collar, footbed, and sole and comes with a DVD copy of the film. LRG has just announced that they will be dropping their first ever full length skateboard video “Give Me My Money Chico” at the end of this month. Themed on a running bet between the LRG team and Chico Brenes and filmed for four years across multiple continents including Asia, North America, South America, Europe, and Australia, “Give Me My Money Chico” is looking like its gonna be a blockbuster. For their latest installment of the Visually Heard series, L-R-G linked up with producer Exile for a quick but deep check-in on what it was like to discover his father’s lost recordings and sound equipment. Exile is of course known for working with everyone from his partner Aloe Blacc to Ghotface and Mobb Deep, his father Albert Trent Manfredi, was a ground breaking musician in his own right but passed before Exile really got to know him.

The feature includes Micky Papa, Dustin Montie, Ryan Bonnell, Chad Dickson, Spencer Hamilton and friends murking Vancouver all city, all day. Oakley and LRG have just released some looks at their upcoming A Frame collabo. Coming in two colorways, purple with LRG Tree all over print and jet black with LRG etching on the lower third of the lens, both will be available at select Oakley dealers. The black after the jump.
G-Shock’s mega bash on Wednesday night, “G-Shock The World,” had more treats than two christmases. In addition to the free flowing top shelf, endless nibblets, talent galore, and a full set by Kanyeezy, a bunch of announcements were made about G-Shock’s new action sports program. The new official team members are Stevie Williams for skate, Gabe Kling and Erica Hosseini for surf and Matt Hammer for snow. All were on hand for the party. On the product side, G-Shock announced collabo watches with Todd Jordan and Globe, adding to the In4mation, LRG and Surfriders collabos already announced.
