Famous has just released a new trailer for their upcoming skate video and if there was any doubt, this settles it, it’s going to be a banger. Queens native and top Shut am Luis Tolentino solidified a place in history at this year’s Tampa Am by tying the world record for the highest ollie at 44.5 inches held by Danny Wainwright. The real question is now which shoe company is gonna step up and make this kid into Air Luis, seriously. RadCollector linked up on the snowy streets on NYC to hear how the whole thing felt. Queens legend in the making Luis Tolentino already runs NY with the Shut crew, but has now finally started to come into that out of state shine. He hit a major milestone recently with the release of his own ad campaign with Thunder. The new print ad, commercial and interview can all be peeped right here. We told you that the Shut team was heading off to the Cayman Islands to take over Skate Cayman this past week. Well the crew is back and sent over some snaps from throughout the session. Shut Concierge Michael Cohen took these pics of Javier Nunez, Todd Jordan and Luis Tolentino having a blast with the campers, the Fuel TV crew, and in the wave pool, which was evidently way more gnarly than anything in the skate park. Shut’s Todd Jordan, Luis Tolentino, and Javier Nunez are in for a tough one this week. The three are heading to the Cayman Islands to arguably the illest skatepark in the world for the grueling task of hosting a session of Skate Cayman, the Cayman Island’s skate camp. In it’s first year, Skate Cayman has already had Shaun White, Bucky Lasek and Greg Lutzka and will be featuring Tosh Townend, Rune Glifberg and more in addition to the Shut crew before the end of the summer. Skate Cayman goes down at Black Pearl a 52,000 literal skate paradise. That’s way better than X Games, no?

Last month we showed you the first trailer for Famous’ first ever skate video coming this winter. Well they are back with another edit and this one’s got Jay Z “Death of AutoTune” and way more Luis Tolentino. It’s hard to front on that!

Famous has had a pretty ill skate team for a minute: Jereme Rogers, Darren Harper, Kurtis Colamonico, Aquil Brathwaite, Felix Arguelles, and Luis Tolentino just to name a few. Despite this ill roster they haven’t ever put out their own full length video. That all cahcnges in winter 2009 when Famous releases the FM$ SK8 Video. Here is trailer numero uno.
