Burton Snowboards turnt it up another level with the New York City premiere for 13 this past Thursday. Partnering with TheGoodLife! Burton transformed the storied Angel Orensanz Foundation for the Arts into a shred palace that fully demonstrated the diverse breadth of the snowboard massive. Models and artists mingled with bro-brahs and shop rats in the 1830’s era synagogue while plied to the tilt with complimentary PBR and Smirnoff for a lineup that included DJ Smoke L.E.S., DJ A-Dog, Roofeeo from TV on the Radio, a burlesque fashion show, the movie premiere and then full sets from Flatbush Zombies and the RZA. Terje Haakonsen, Mikey Rencz, Mark Sollors, and Ethan Deiss were on hand for the madness along with everyone from Jake Burton and Shaun White to Daria Werbowy and even Ol Dirty Bastard’s son Boy Jones.
