The second stop of the Superpass Series presented by Snowboarder Magazine will be held this Sunday, February 5, at Mountain Creek, NJ. The best snowboarders from the Tri-State Area and beyond will battle it out for an invite to Superpark 16. The Mindnich brothers, Nils & Hans recently got the chance to shred Red Bull Arena in New Jersey. The soccer pitch was transformed during a recent blizzard by Mtn Creek and Redbull for the brothers to get busy. See the full recap via Snowboarder Mag.
Last week Mountain Creek and Under Armour held their 3rd annual Rail Jam. Before the contest Aaron Blatt had a private shoot on the 3rd Rail skate plaza setup with 32 Team rider Chris Beresford and Mountain Creek locals Tom Weiss, Kade Madsen, Timmy Kempson, and Brett Struthers. Mountain Creek is hosting a late-season event called The Stockpile Session. All the snow from the 22′ quarter pipe will be pushed out for one last shred mission. All the benefits from the event will got to the Vernon Skatepark Memorial Organization, who are raising funds to put a skate park in their town. Everyone loves to hate on New Jersey but whatevs, you can’t argue that Mountain Creek has pushed to become one of the top park and pipe mountains in the country. This weekend they are opening their new 22 foot pipe with Atmosphere and Masa and today they announced the release of the Jersey Pride beanie collabo with Neff. As part of their recent push for expanded lifestyle programming, Mountain Creek in Vernon New Jersey is opening the Zered Bassett photo gallery this Saturday January 23rd. The Mountain Creek South Lodge will show Zered’s photos from his trip skate trip x humanitarian mission to Cuba last year. They will also be screening Chris Nieratko’s “Viva Skate,” a short documentary he made of the trip. Full info after the jump.
